RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR WATER FILTER
MEDIA TO NORTHERN GRAVEL CO.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for anthracite coal and graded sand filter media for the 1987
Cypress Water Treatment Plant; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has considered three bids received, and
has found the lowest responsive bidder to be Northern Gravel Co.
of Muscatine, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for filter media for the Cypress Water Treatment
Plant is hereby awarded to Northern Gravel Co. of Muscatine, Iowa
in the amount of $42 , 504 . 00.
