RESOLUTION NO. 81-92
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS ESTABLISHING A POLICY FOR
LEASING LOTS AT LAKE ARROWHEAD AND FOR RE-
LEASING EXISTING LAKE LOTS THAT TERMINATE ON
OR AFTER MAY 1, 1992, FOR ANY REASON; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has
been made aware that policies and procedures need to be
established for addressing lake lots at Lake Arrowhead that are
currently not leased and are being held by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is also desirous of establishing a
policy that addresses the currently leased lots at Lake Arrowhead
which may during the course of the term terminate due to non-
payment or other breach of covenant contained in the lease
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That current City-held Lake Arrowhead lots may
in the future be leased by the City for recreational and/or
gardening purposes in those situations where such lots will not
require additional public improvements for ingress or egress or
the furnishing of any public utilities, the same to be leased at
an annual fee of $ 120.00 Said lots may be leased for
a term of five years under terms and conditions that
are satisfactory to the City.
SECTION 2. That currently leased Arrowhead lake lots that
may in the future terminate may be re-leased, depending upon the
circumstances, to the previous lessee or such lessee' s heirs or
assigns for a consideration of $480. 00 per year, said
consideration subject to review and adjustment at five year
intervals.
SECTION 3 . That prior to the re-lease of any Lake Arrowhead
lake lots that may expire from or after May 1 , 1992, or have
previously lapsed, the applicant lessee shall pay an inspection
fee to the City of $150. 00, to be utilized by the City for
inspecting the proposed leased premises, its septic system and
general suitability for re-leasing.

SECTION 4 . It is hereby officially found and determined
that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to
the public as required by law.
