RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO CENTRAL PLAINS
CONTRACTING CO. FOR LAKE DIVERSION SPILLWAY
ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City and Wichita County Water Improvement
District No. 2 are co-owners of Lake Diversion and have recently
advertised for bids to construct certain additions to the
spillway, said bids to be made on a unit price basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsive bidder is
Central Plains Contracting Co. , who bid unit prices with an
estimated total of $2, 390,480; and,
WHEREAS, the City and District have an existing contract for
sharing of the Lake Diversion construction cost on a ratio of 55%
for the City and 45% for the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such unit price bid of Central Plains Contracting Co. with
an estimated total of $2, 390, 480 is hereby accepted, and the
City Manager is authorized to execute a joint contract with
Wichita County Water Improvement District No. 2 and said
contractor for the construction of such projec
