RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AMENDMENT TO WATER
PURCHASE CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF OLNEY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and the City of Olney
entered into a Water Purchase Contract dated January 24, 1984 for
the purchase of raw water from Lake Kickapoo;
WHEREAS, the City of Olney is seeking a loan from the
Farmer's Loan Administration and certain changes in the contract
are necessary to facilitate financing by the Farmer's Home
Administration; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined a proposed Fifth
Amendment to said Water Purchase Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed Fifth Amendment to the Water Purchase Contract
between the City of Olney and the City of Wichita Falls is hereby
approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute the same
for the City of Wichita Falls.
