RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 12 FOR
RIVER ROAD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
MODIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with the
firm of Craig, Sheffield & Austin, Inc. for certain modifications
and additions at the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the original contract amount was $19,572, 000 and
this amount has been lowered by eleven approved change orders to
19, 424, 023 .71; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has considered a proposed Change Order
No. 12 for the addition of sixteen 6-inch stainless steel pipe
extensions at access ports in the two digester covers of the
anaerobic digesters.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 12 is hereby approved. The change order
adds $9, 600 to the contract, increasing the contract amount with
all previous approved change orders to $19,433, 623.71. The City
Manager is authorized to execute Change Order No. 12 for the
City.
