RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1990-1991 MILL AND
OVERLAY PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
ZACK BURKETT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract
with Zack Burkett Company with the estimated total cost of $664,595. 80
and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
717,974.95 of which $682, 076.20 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $35,898.75; and ,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be
acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1990-1991 Mill and Overlay Project is hereby accepted and the
City Manager is authorized to make final paym) t to the contractor.
