RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ENGINEERING CONTRACT
WITH BIGGS & MATHEWS, INC. FOR SANITARY SEWER
LINE FROM SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE TO CITY
SEWER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City is cooperating with Sheppard Air Force
Base for the installation of a sanitary sewer collection system
to bring sewage from the Base to the City wastewater system;
WHEREAS, Council has previously approved a contract with
Sheppard Air Force Base whereby the Base will pay a proportionate
share of the engineering design costs for the project;
WHEREAS, the Council desires to engage the engineering
consulting firm of Biggs & Mathews, Inc. for the necessary
engineering work related to this project; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has considered a proposed contract with
Biggs & Mathews, Inc. for the stated purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The said engineering contract is hereby approved with a
maximum fee of $96, 500 for the basic engineering services defined
in the contract. The City Manager is authorized to execute the
contract for the City.
