RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF LAKESIDE CITY TO PROVIDE WATER
SERVICE TO A SPECIFIC TRACT OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION.
WHEREAS, Lakeside City and the City of Wichita Falls have an
agreement establishing certain boundaries and municipal jurisdiction
between the cities; and
WHEREAS, an individual owning a specific tract of property covered
by the Cities agreement has requested, because of cost, convenience,
accessibility and feasibility, that Lakeside City provide water service
to such tract; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has no objections to Lakeside
City providing such service under certain conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1. The City of Lakeside City is hereby authorized to
provide water service to a specific tract of property located within
the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Wichita Falls.
SECTION 2. The specific property is platted in accordance with
Chapter 212 of the Texas Local Government Code.
SECTION 3. The authorization for Lakeside City to provide water
is for a single residential meter for a single family residence
described in Attachment A.
SECTION 4. This resolution is limited to this specific tract and
shall not effect any other tract of property or provision of any other
agreements between the two cities.
