RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A VEHICLE PURCHASE AGREEMENT
WITH THE CITY OF IOWA PARK
WHEREAS,The City of Wichita falls purchases replacement
vehicles pursuant to the competitive bidding requirements of the State
of Texas so as to receive the lowest possible unit cost; and,
WHEREAS, The City of Iowa Park desires to jointly bid with the
City of Wichita Falls its fleet replacement vehicles when such
specifications are satisfactory to both parties; and,
WHEREAS, The mutual bidding of fleet replacement vehicles will
benefit the tax payers of both entities by minimizing costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Certain agreement between the City of Wichita Falls, and the City
of Iowa Park for the joint bidding of replacement vehicles is hereby
approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute same for the
City of Wichita Falls.
