RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT FOR REPLACEMENT
OF SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION
SCADA) SYSTEM AT CYPRESS WATER TREATMENT
PLANT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City authorized replacement of the
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system in the Water
Supply and Purification Division and awarded a contract to EMD,
Inc. in the original amount of $74,950;
WHEREAS, one Change Order in the amount of $800 was
approved, bringing the total contract amount to $75,750;
WHEREAS, the City has previously made payments in the amount
of $74,235, leaving an amount due of $1,515; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has found the completed work to be
acceptable and has recommended that Council accept the project as
complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to replace the Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition system in the Water Supply and Purification Division
is hereby accepted as complete and the City Manager is authorized
to make a final payment of $1, 515 to the contractor.
