RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT FOR REPLACEMENT
OF HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM AT 402
EAST SCOTT FACILITY AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with
James Lane Air Conditioning Company for replacement of the
heating and air conditioning system at 402 East Scott;
WHEREAS, the original contract was in the amount of $14,824,
and the City has paid $14, 082 during the process of the work,
leaving an amount due of $742 ; and,
WHEREAS, the work has been completed and has been inspected
and found acceptable by the City staff and the staff is
recommending Council accept the project as complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to replace the heating and air conditioning
system at 402 East Scott is hereby accepted as complete and the
City Manager is authorized to make a final payment in the amount
of $742 to the contractor.
