ORDINANCE RE-APPROPRIATING FUNDS BETWEEN
DEPARTMENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF MATCHING
THE FEDERAL GRANT FOR RENOVATING THE
INTERIOR OF THE WICHITA FALLS MUNICIPAL
AIRPORT TERMINAL BUILDING.
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration has approved a grant to aid in the
renovation of the common use area of the Municipal Airport Terminal Building; and,
WHEREAS, the matching funds are available within the Department of Aviation,
Traffic, and Transportation; and,
WHEREAS, the renovation is in the best interest of citizens of the City of Wichita
Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION I. There is hereby appropriated $125,000 to be placed in Account
21-219-4350. These funds shall be transferred from the accounts and in the amounts
shown below:

These funds shall be encumbered in the City's Fiscal Year 1984-85 budget in order to
meet the City's commitment under the federal grant.
Section II. These expenditures represent a growing public necessity, and it is an
emergency expenditure to meet unusual and unforeseen conditions which could not by
reasonable, diligent thought and attention have been included in the original budget. The
fact that this amount will be due and that it is essential for the immediate use of the

City of Wichita Falls creates an emergency, therefore this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
