AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A TEN
(10) FOOT WIDE EAST-WEST SEWER EASEMENT ON LOT 1,
BLOCK 173, HIGHLAND ADDITION, WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the ten (10) foot wide east-west sewer easement on Lot 1,
Block 173, Highland Addition, is no longer needed, as the sewer line will revert
to private ownership; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems it
advisable and in the public interest to close the sewer easement hereafter
described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The ten (10) foot wide east-west sewer easement in Lot 1,
Block 173, Highland Addition, Wichita Falls, Texas, whose centerline intersects
the easterly right-of-way line of Kemp Boulevard at a point which bears S 43°
18' 30" W, 80 feet more or less, from the northmost corner of said Lot 1, and
continues east and intersects with the northeasterly lot line of said Lot 1; be
. and the same is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon the installation
of cleanout valve as required by the Public Utilities Department, within one (1)
.year from the date of passage of this ordinance.
