AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A TEN (10)
FOOT WIDE EAST-WEST UTILITY EASEMENT IN LOT 2, BLOCK 173,
HIGHLAND ADDITION, WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has recommended that a ten
(10) foot wide east-west utility easement in Lot 2, Block 173, Highland Addition
be closed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls deems it advisable
and in the public interest to close the easement hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The ten (10) foot wide, east-west utility easement in Lot 2, Block 173,
Highland Addition, Wichita Falls, Texas, whose centerline runs parallel to and 112
feet north of the south lot line of said lot, and which is bounded in the west by
the westerly lot line of Lot 2, and to the east by the east lot line of said lot;
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 1st day of April , 1986.
