RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE CDBG 1993 MILL AND
OVERLAY PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
ZACK BURKETT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract
with Zack Burkett Company with the estimated total cost of
149, 125 . 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
149, 628 . 30 of which $134, 382 . 24 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $15, 246 . 06 ; and ,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be
acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The CDBG 1993 Mill and Overlay Project is hereby accepted and the
City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
