RESOLUTION APPROVING RENEWAL AND EXTENSION OF
CONTRACT FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF
JOINTLY OWNED LAKE AND CANAL SYSTEMS BY THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS AND WICHITA COUNTY
WATER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has previously entered
into an agreement with the Wichita County Water Improvement
District No. 2 for operation and maintenance of Lake Kemp, the
Diversion Reservoir, main canals, laterals and other facilities
used in connection therewith; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and the Wichita County
Water Improvement District No. 2 are willing to extend the terms
and conditions of the contract dated December 20, 1988 for an
additional five-year term commencing on September 30, 1993 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The renewal and extension of the contract for operation and
maintenance of jointly owned lake and canal systems by the City
of Wichita Falls and Wichita County Water Improvement District
No. 2 is hereby approved.
