RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT COMPUTER CONTROL SYSTEM
PROJECT AS COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZE PAYMENT TO
CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with
Weidner & Associates, Inc. for the installation of a computer
control system at the newly renovated River Road Wastewater
Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the original contract price of $142, 675 was
increased by approved change orders in the amount of $4 , 630 to a
final contract amount of $147,305;
WHEREAS, the City has made previous payments in the amount
of $139, 939 .75, leaving an amount due to the contractor of
7, 365 .25; and,
WHEREAS, the project is complete, has been inspected by the
Design Engineering firm, and is recommended to the Council for
acceptance by the Staff and Design Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to install a computer control system at the
River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant is hereby accepted as
complete, and the City Manager is authorize to make a final
payment of $7, 365 . 25 to the contractor.
