RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND
AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
FOR THE LAKE ARROWHEAD SEAL COAT PROGRAM -
PHASE I
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract
dated June 17, 1993 with Barnett Paving and Sealing for the Lake
Arrowhead Seal Coat Program Phase I; and,
WHEREAS, said project has been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, said contract was a unit price contract and the
total cost based on actual quantities is $121, 267.17; however,
109, 140 .45 has been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance
due of $12, 126 . 72; and,
WHEREAS the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of said project is accepted by the City of
Wichita Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to
make final payment to the contractor in the amount set out above.
