RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO BOWLES
CONSTRUCTION CO. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PRISON
SEWER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the construction of a sewer system to serve the new Prison
Facility, which bids were to be made on a unit price basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is
Bowles Construction Co. who bid unit prices with a estimated
total of $722,753 .80.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such unit price bid of Bowles Construction Co. with an
estimated total of $722,753 . 80 is hereby accepted and the City
Manager is authorize to execute a contract for the City with said
contract for the construction of such project
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 7th day of September, 1993 .
