A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ATTORNEY TO SETTLE A PERSONAL INJURY LAWSUIT
WITH GEORGE M. LOCKE; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS
PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY
LAW.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Attorney be and is hereby
authorized to execute a settlement agreement with George M.
Locke, settling all claims for personal injuries received in a
motor vehicle accident occurring in the City of Wichita Falls on
or about the 6th day of June, 1991, in accordance with the
settlement agreement, the same attached hereto and made a part
hereof for all purposes.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined
that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to
the public as required by law.

Claim(s) Being Released: ALL CLAIMS [including personal injuries, property damage,
medical expense, etc.] because of a motor vehicle collision on June 6, 1991, at the
intersection of 9th and Indiana Streets, Wichita Falls, Texas, with a City vehicle being
driven by Charles Casillas. Plaintiff alleges that the collision was caused by officer Casillas
running a red light. I am married to Katherene Locke. Neither she nor anyone else is
entitled to make a claim for loss of consortium as a result of my temporary and partial
physical impairment occurring from the accident; and I agree to indemnify and hold the City
and Mr. Casillas harmless from any loss of consortium claims.
Other Provisions: Cause No. CCL-430-92-F, County Court at Law No. 2, Wichita County,
Texas, will be dismissed with prejudice. The City agrees to pay the court costs. The parties
agree that the amount of the settlement, and terms of the release shall be confidential and
not disclosed to 3rd parties not in privity with either party.
