AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION
FROM THE SANITATION FUND TO THE
ACCOUNT NUMBERS LISTED BELOW AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the Sanitation
fund the sum of $85,000 which shall be placed in the following account
numbers:
51-376-5290
SECTION 2. A growing public necessity exists, and this is an
emergency expenditure to meet unusual and unforseen conditions which could
not, by reasonable, diligent thought and attention, have been included in the
original budget. The fact that this amount will be due and that it is essential
for the immediate use of the City of Wichita Falls creates an emergency, therefore
this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
