RESOLUTION NO.2 ,-c1.3
RESOLUTION AMENDING AWARD TO TREE VENDORS
WHEREAS, it is desirable to plant trees in Wichita
Falls; and,
WHEREAS, following the awarding of bids, November 16,
1993, it was discovered certain federal wage rate rules
should be followed; and,
WHEREAS, in order to comply with such rules an
adjustment of the award should be made that will permit
adherence to federal rules and timely planting of trees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The award of contract for the purchase of trees on
November 16, 1993 is hereby adjusted. The 200 Small
Business Administration grant trees will be purchased as per
the specifications, while the award for purchase of 228
Community Development Block Grant trees and 16 general fund
trees will be cancelled and bids immediately solicited for
these trees with the requirement they be delivered only and
have a spring leaf out guarantee.
