RESOLUTION NO. 199-93
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE LEASE OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY AT LAKE KICKAPOO; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the lease of property at Lake Kickapoo held by
M. F. Hankins (Lot 3, Block C, Northside Lake Kickapoo) has
lapsed; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Hankins has requested that this lease be
reinstated; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls finds
that the reinstatement of such lease under its old terms and
conditions is proper and will benefit all parties concerned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and is hereby
authorized to execute a lease to Mr. M. F. Hankins for the lot he
formerly held at Lake Kickapoo under the terms and conditions of
the old lease until it was terminated for non-payment of rent.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined
that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to
the public as required by law.
