RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PRISON WATER SYSTEM
PROJECT AS COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with H & S
Utilities, Inc . for the construction of a water pipeline system
to serve the new state prison site;
WHEREAS, the original contract in the amount of $406, 435 . 56
was increased by one approved Change Order to $406, 615 .48 ;
WHEREAS, the actual amount of work accomplished was
415, 224 . 75;
WHEREAS, we have previously paid the contractor $406, 743 . 93 ,
leaving an amount due to the contractor of $8, 480 . 82; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the project and found
it acceptable and has recommended that the City Council accept
the project as complete .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to install a water pipeline system to the prison
site is hereby accepted as complete, and the City Manager is
authorized to make a final payment of $8, 480 . 82 to the
contractor.
