A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF W CHITA
FALLS AUTHORIZING THE FORMATION OF THE WICHITA FALLS
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION; FINDING AND DETERMININe THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSNP WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita : alls finds
and determines that there is a need for a non-profit c•rporation
to promote the common good and general welfare of the community
by improving the conditions for low and moderate incom: citizens
of the City and by promoting economic development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCI OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City hereby approves the for of
Articles of Incorporation proposed to be used in organ' zing the
Wichita Falls Development Corporation, and hereby grants
authority for the incorporation of the corporation.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and det=rmined
that the meeting at which this resolution was passed w.s open to
the public as required by law.
