RESOLUTION AWARDING PURCHASE OF TREES
FOR PARKS AND MEDIANS .
WHEREAS , it is desirable to maintain the urban forest
by replacing dead trees and planting new trees , and
WHEREAS , bid for trees have been received for 444
trees .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Contracts for the purchase of trees are hereby awarded
to Bush Landscaping ( 92 ) in the amount of $6 ,712 .33 , Miller
Landscaping ( 105 ) in the amount of $6 ,297 .50, and Wichita
Valley Landscape ( 247 ) in the amount of $15,932.50 , for a
total of $28,942.33 .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 16th day-Of ovember-1-9' .
