RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE CDBG BEN DONNELL
PLAYGROUND PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
SAHARA ENTERPRIZES
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract
with Sahara Enterprizes with the estimated total cost of $5, 925 . 00
and,
WHEREAS, said contract was a unit price contract and the total
cost based on actual quantities is $6, 168 . 00 of which $5, 242 . 80 has
been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of
925 . 20; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be
acceptable .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The CDBG Ben Donnell Playground Project is hereby accepted, and
the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
