RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING MR. DON JAMES FOR HIS
INVOLVEMENT AND LEADERSHIP IN WORKING WITH
THE LAKE WICHITA STUDY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls
established a study committee to examine potential future uses of
the Lake Wichita facility; and,
WHEREAS, the Committee was created to examine and study the
possible uses and re-uses of the Lake Wichita area; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Don James was appointed to the Lake Wichita
Study Committee to draw upon his vast knowledge and understanding
of the area, its people, and the potential for recreational re-
use; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Don James participated and contributed to the
work of the Committee in a dedicated and competent manner greatly
serving the citizens of Wichita Falls .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LAKE WICHITA STUDY
COMMITTEE, THAT:
The Committee recognizes the outstanding contribution of Mr.
Don James, and will sorely miss his knowledge, understanding, and
leadership.
