RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1993 MILL & OVERLAY
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO ZACK
BURKETT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract
with Zack Burkett Company with the estimated total cost of
473, 120 . 00; and,
WHEREAS, said contract was a unit price contract and the total
cost based on actual quantities is $513, 146 . 65 of which $485, 979 . 70
has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of
27, 166 . 95 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be
acceptable .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1993 Mill & Overlay Project is hereby accepted and the City
Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
