RESOLUTION NO. I' 1 -9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS AUTHORIZING THE WICHITA COUNTY-CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, HOSPITAL BOARD TO CONVEY
CERTAIN LAND TO THE UNITED DIAGNOSTIC CENTER;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Wichita County-City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
Hospital Board is an entity created pursuant to Article 4494i-
1, V.A.C.S. ; and,
WHEREAS, said Board is the owner of the premises known as
Lot Two (2) of the replat of Lots One through Six (1 through
6) of Block 257 of the Original Townsite Subdivision of
Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, as a Joint Venturer with Bethania Regional
Health Care Center in a Joint Venture known as United
Diagnostic Center, said Board has previously conveyed a tract
of land out of Block 257 for the establishment and
construction of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center thereon;
and,
WHEREAS, additional property is now requested by the
United Diagnostic Center for expansion of its technical
facilities to be constructed adjacent thereto on the strip or
tract of land described on the attached exhibit; and good
cause exists therefor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 5
of said Article 4494i-1, wherein approval of the Commissioners
Court of Wichita County and the City Council of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, is required prior to said Hospital Board
being authorized to encumber, sell, lease or convey any of its
real estate, approval is hereby granted to said Board to
convey to the United Diagnostic Center for nominal
consideration, the strip of land described on the attached
Exhibit "A. "
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined
that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open
to the public as required by law.

A tract of land out of Lot 2 , Block 257, Original Townsite,
Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, and being the West 65. 00
feet of said Lot 2, Block 257, and being more specifically
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a 1/2" iron rod in the North right-of-way line of
Ninth Street, a dedicated street, said iron rod bears South
56° 26' 00" West 197.70 feet from the Southeast corner of said
Block 257, for the Southeast corner and place of beginning of
this description;
THENCE North 33° 40' 00" West 175. 06 feet to a 1/2" iron rod
in the North line of said Lot 2 for the Northeast corner of
this tract;
THENCE South 56° 23' 00" West 65. 00 feet along said North line
of Lot 2 to an "X" in concrete for the Northwest corner of
said Lot 2 and the Northwest corner of this tract;
THENCE South 33° 40' 00" East 175.00 feet along the West line
of said Lot 2 to an "X" in concrete in said North right-of-way
line of Ninth Street for the Southwest corner of said Lot 2
and the Southwest corner of this tract;
THENCE North 56° 26' 00" East 65. 00 feet along the South line
of said Lot 2 and said North right-of-way line of Ninth Street
to the Place of Beginning, and containing 0. 26 acres, more or
less.
