RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO SOUTHWESTERN TOOL
AND MACHINE COMPANY FOR STAINLESS STEEL
MANHOLE MODIFICATION DEVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the construction of 14 stainless steel manhole modification
devices to modify the Holliday Creek Sanitary Sewer Interceptor;
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is
Southwestern Tool and Machine Company, who bid a unit price of
1, 325 and a total bid price of $18,550. 00 for the 14 devices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Southwestern Tool and Machine Company with a
total price of $18, 550. 00 is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to issue a Purchase Order for the devices.
