RESOLUTION AMENDING LOG CABIN RENTAL POLICY
RESOLUTION 120-86) TO PERMIT RETENTION
OF DEPOSIT FOR FAILURE TO VACATE .
WHEREAS, on occasion a renter will fail to vacate the
facility at the specified time and inconvenience the rental
party that immediately follows; and
WHEREAS , the present policy permits retention of the
damage/clean-up deposit only for those purposes; and ,
WHEREAS , it is desirable to retain an amount of deposit
funds equal to the next block of time as a penalty and
deterent to not vacating the facility as agreed in the
contract .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
The log cabin rental policy , Resolution 120-86 , is
hereby amended to permit retention of deposit funds equal to
the next block of time for failure to vacate as agreed .
