RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO WICHITA OXYGEN
SUPPLY COMPANY, INC. FOR ANNUAL SUPPLY OF
WATER TREATMENT CHEMICAL
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for liquid carbon dioxide used to treat water; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a summary of the bids for
the chemical and has determined the lowest responsible bidder to
be Wichita Oxygen Supply Company, Inc. , of Wichita Falls, Texas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Wichita Oxygen Supply Company, Inc. of $65. 00 per
ton for the annual supply of approximately 1, 000 tons is hereby
accepted, and the City staff is authorized to purchase the
chemical on an as-required basis.
