RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN
AUTOMATED LIBRARY SYSTEM FROM DYNIX
AUTOMATED LIBRARY SYSTEMS, INCORPORATED
WHEREAS, the City requested proposals for the purchase of an
automated library system; and
WHEREAS, the City has evaluated these proposals and
determined the solution proposed by Dynix, Incorporated to be the
most responsive proposal; and
WHEREAS, the City has received over $100,000.00 in private
donations for the purchase of the most responsive library
automation system;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is hereby granted to purchase a library
information system proposed by Dynix Automated Library Systems,
Incorporated for the cost of $146,900.00.
