A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, TO
AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT WITH TELEQUESTION, INC.
FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT ASSISTANCE;FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City desires to promote economic development in
the community; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Block Grant funds have been
allocated for such purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That.the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract with Telequestion, Inc. DBA Telequest in the amount not to
exceed $50, 000 for the provision of utility connections and
employee training operations.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that
the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to the
public as required by law.
