RESOLUTION TO AWARD BIDS FOR GRAZING LEASES
AT LAKE ARROWHEAD
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has three (3) tracts of
grassland available for leasing at Lake Arrowhead;
WHEREAS, the City received bids on each of the tracts on
May 24, 1993 ; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the bid proposals
received and desires to award bids to the highest bidder for each
tract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for Lake Arrowhead Grazing Lease No. 1, consisting
of 223 .5 acres, is hereby awarded to Mr. Luke Halsell in the
amount of $12 .78 per acre/per year, a total annual bid of
2,856. 33 . Lake Arrowhead Grazing Lease No. 2 , consisting of
228. 375 acres, is hereby awarded to the Kimball Ranch for $8.85
per acre/per year, a total bid of $2,021. 12 per year. Lake
Arrowhead Grazing Lease No. 3, consisting of 68 .326 acres, is
hereby awarded to Mr. Luke Halsell in the amount of $9.57 per
acre/per year, a total bid of $653 .88 per year. Each of the
leases shall be for five (5) years beginning on August 15, 1993
and extending to August 14, 1998. The City Manager is authorized
to execute an appropriate lease agreement with each of the cited
parties.
