RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND
AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
FOR THE REROOFING OF THE MUNICIPAL COURT
BUILDING AND FIRE STATION NO. 7 PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract
dated March 16, 1993 for the Reroofing Municipal Court Building
and Fire Station No. 7 Project; and,
WHEREAS, said project has been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, said contract was a Lump Sum contract with a total
cost of $19, 158. 00; however, $17,242 . 20 has been paid to the
contractor, leaving a balance due of $1,915.80; and,
WHEREAS this project was inspected and complete on May 18,
1993 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of said project is accepted by the City of
Wichita Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to
pay the contractor the amount as set out - •o e.
