RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT THE NORTH TEXAS REGIONAL
NARCOTICS TASK FORCE/4 GRANT AWARD
WHEREAS, the Criminal Justice Division, Governor's
Office has notified the City of Wichita Falls that a grant
award in the amount of $447,768. 00 designated as North Texas
Regional Narcotics Task/4 has been awarded to the City of
Wichita Falls, acting as coordinating agency, and
WHEREAS, $335, 826. 00 in federal funds are being
provided for this project and $111,942 . 00 from proceeds
generated by drug forfeitures and/or from participating
entities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept said
grant award on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls and to
sign the acceptance notice as the City's authorized
official.
