ORDINANCE NO. 17—g
AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION
FROM THE HOTEL/MOTEL TAX FUND TO THE
ACCOUNT NUMBER LISTED BELOW AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1 . There is hereby appropriated out of the Hotel/Motel Tax fund
the sum of $3,500 which shall be placed in the following account number:
26-052-4472.
SECTION 2. A growing public necessity exists, and this is an emergency
expenditure to meet unusual and unforeseen conditions which could not, by
reasonable, diligent thought and attention, have been included in the original
budget. The fact that this amount will be due and that it is essential for
the immediate use of the City of Wichita Falls creates an emergency, therefore,
this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
