RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT LAKE DIVERSION SPILLWAY
ADDITION AND MODIFICATION PROJECT AS COMPLETE
AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City and Wichita County Water Improvement
District have a contract with Central Plains Contracting Company
for certain additions and modifications at Lake Diversion;
WHEREAS, the original contract price of $2, 390,480 has been
increased by change orders and additional quantities to
2 ,453 ,202 .47;
WHEREAS, the City and District have previously paid the
contractor an amount of $2 ,404, 138.42, leaving $49, 064 . 05 due for
payment to the contractor;
WHEREAS, the City and District are sharing the cost of this
project on a 55% City to 45% District ratio, and on that basis,
the City part of final payment to the contractor is $26, 985.23 ;
WHEREAS, the project has been inspected and found to be in
compliance with plans and specifications, and the staff has
recommended Council accept the project as complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:

Project is hereby accepted as complete, and the City Manager is
authorized to make final payment of $26,985.23 to the contra f .
