RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER FOR LAKE
DIVERSION SPILLWAY MODIFICATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with Wichita County Water
Improvement District No. 2 as co-owner and Central Plains
Contracting Company as construction contractor for certain
modifications to the Lake Diversion Spillway;
WHEREAS, it is necessary to install a rock trench on the
water side of the new spillway to prevent erosion of the dam from
under the concrete spillway; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize a change order to
accomplish the stated work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 3 to the Lake Diversion Spillway
Modification Project is hereby approved with an estimated amount
of $20, 600, with the City's share being 55% or approximately
11, 330. The City Manager is authorized to execute the change
order for the City of Wichita Falls.
