RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO H & S UTILITIES,
INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WATER SYSTEM TO
SERVE NEW STATE PRISON
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the construction of a treated water transmission line to
serve the new State Prison site, which bids were to be made on a
unit price basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is
H & S Utilities, Inc. , who bid unit prices with an estimated
total of $406, 435. 56.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such unit price bid of H & S Utilities, Inc. with an
estimated total of $406,435.56 is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with
said contractor for the construction of such project.
