RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH
ENGINEERING FIRM OF BIGGS AND MATHEWS, INC.
FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATING TO THE
PRISON SEWER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls will install a sewer
system to connect the new prison site to the City sewage
collection and treatment system;
WHEREAS, the engineering firm of Biggs and Mathews, Inc.
conducted a preliminary engineering study to identify the most
cost effective and technically efficient option for the prison
sewer prison;
WHEREAS, the Council now desires to engage Biggs and
Mathews, Inc. to perform the engineering services related to the
design and construction of the prison sewer system; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed a proposed contract for
this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract between the City of Wichita Falls and
Biggs and Mathews, Inc. for engineering services related to the
prison sewer system is hereby approved with a maximum fee for
base engineering services identified in the contract to be
66, 379.50.The City Manager is authorized to execute the
contract for the City.
