A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS CANCELING A CAR RENTAL LEASE WITH M & M
RENTAL SERVICES, INC. , D/B/A NATIONAL CAR RENTAL OF
WICHITA FALLS, THROUGH WILLIAM HURLEY (NATIONAL
LICENSEE) ; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City currently has a car rental lease
agreement with M & M Rental Services, Inc. , d/b/a National Car
Rental of Wichita Falls, through William Hurley (National
licensee) , which provides for cancellation for non-payment of
the monthly rental, among other things; and,
WHEREAS, the lessee has not paid its required rent for
the months of December, January or February, and has
additionally defaulted on a certain note.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That all of the above preambles are found to
be true and correct and made a part hereof for all purposes.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be and is hereby
authorized to notify M & M Rental Services, Inc. , d/b/a
National Car Rental of Wichita Falls, through William Hurley
National licensee) that said lease agreement with the City is
cancelled in accordance with the provisions of said lease
agreement.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined
that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open
to the public as required by law.
