ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20-7 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO INCREASE THE FINE FROM $200 TO
$1, 000 FOR DEPOSITING TRASH, GLASS , DEBRIS ,
ETC. , ON CITY STREETS , ALLEYS OR PUBLIC LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Section 20-7 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Wichita
Falls is hereby amended to read as follows :
"No person shall deposit, place, or dump, or cause to be
deposited, placed, or dumped, any trash, refuse, debris, tin cans,
glass, worn-out automobile parts, and waste material of any kind
or character upon the streets , alleys or public lands within the
corporate limits of the City. A violation of this section shall
be punished by a fine not exceeding $1, 000 .00 ."
