ORDINANCE NO. 59-86
AN ORDINANCE REZONING THE AREA SOUTH OF LAKE SHORE
DRIVE, EXTENDING EAST FROM THE WEST BOUNDARY OF LOT
90 LAKE VIEW FARMS SUBDIVISION TO AND INCLUDING THE
SOUTH PORTION OF JAYCEE PARK, FROM SINGLE-FAMILY,
STANDARD LOT (SF-2) TO RESIDENTIAL MIXED USE (RMU)
ZONE
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has recommended
the rezoning of the area south of Lake Shore Drive from Lot 90,
Lake View Farms to and including the south portion of Jaycee
Park, from Single-Family, Standard Lot (SF-2) to Residential
Mixed Use (RMU) zone; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas deems that the proposed rezoning hereafter described is
in accordance with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan, and is in
the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The area south of Lake Shore Drive, extending east from
the west boundary of Lot 90, Lake View Farms Subdivision to and
including the south portion of Jaycee Park, shown as the grey
shaded area on the attached map (Attachment No. 1) , is hereby
rezoned from Single-Family, Standard (SF-2) to Residential
Mixed Use (RMU) zone.
