AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION
OF AN ALLEY IN ED MANNING'S SUBDIVISION, WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has recommended
the closure of a portion of an alley in Ed Manning' s Subdivi-
sion, Wichita Falls, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, deems it advisable and in the public interest to close
the portion of alley hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The sixty ( 60) feet portion of a twenty ( 20)
feet wide, east-west alley, lying south of and abutting the
south lot line of Lot 4, Ed Manning' s Subdivision, Wichita
Falls, Texas, is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
SECTION 2. The alley closure described in Section 1
shall become effective upon the filing with the Wichita County
Clerk within one year of the passage of this ordinance, of a
final plat of Lot 4A, Block 1, Ed Manning' s Subdivision, as
approved by thes Planning & Zoning Commission on August 13 ,
1986 .
