A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING BIDS FOR CERTAIN
PARCELS OF EXCESS REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF DEEDS TO CONVEY TITLE; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS DISCUSSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, 29 parcels of excess real property have been
advertised for sale to the general public; and,
WHEREAS, sealed bids were opened on July 11, 1994, which
were submitted by 11 bidders who desire to purchase said
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The following parcels of real property
located in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, have been
identified as excess and have been advertised for sale to the
public by sealed bid:

SECTION 3 . The above-listed high bids are hereby
accepted, with the exception of Parcel #1, #2, #3, #5, #6, #8,
9, #13, #14, #15, and #22. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
join the officers of the other taxing entities in executing
special warranty deeds conveying title to the buyers of the
properties.
SECTION 4. It is hereby officially found and determined
that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open
to the public as required by law.
