RESOLUTION NO. 1 C ; `C1 LI
RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE CDBG WOOLWORTH
BUILDING DEMOLITION PROJECT, CHANGE ORDER NO.
ONE AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO MOTE, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Mote, Inc. with the estimated total cost of
78, 470 . 00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
82, 018 . 00, of which $69, 348.60 has been previously paid to the
contractor, and liquidated damages for 22 days at $160.00 per day
for a total of $3, 520 . 00, leaving an amount due of $9, 149 .40;
and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The CDBG Woolworth Building Demolition Project is hereby
accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment
to the contractor.
