RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE CDBG COUNTRY CLUB
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, PHASE II AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO ZACK BURKETT CO.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Zack Burkett Co. with the estimated total cost of
363 , 306 . 00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
378, 557 . 65 of which $338, 631 . 88 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $39, 925 . 77; and ,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The CDBG Country Club Reconstruction Project, Phase II is
hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make final
payment to the contractor.
